The new 1053 HDTV Connector is the first fiber-optic HDTV
connector that meets the broadcast industry’s requirements for an
effortless transition to fiber-based HDTV cameras.
Co-developed in an exclusive partnership with Corning, the 1053 series combines the field-tested reliability of Fischer established Broadcast Triax connectprs, with the proven technology of Corning UniCam “No Epoxy - No polish” fiber-optic contacts. This state-of-the-art technology combination makes it now simple, convenient, and economical to field- assemble HDTV camera connectors in only 30 minutes. In recognition of outstanding achievement in the advancement of the art and science of video technology, the 1053 HDTV Connector was rewarded with the “Television Broadcast Top Innovation Award for ”Technology Insight for the Bottom Line” at the 2005 NAB show.
