Technical Voltage

All Test Voltage (Ue) ratings are taken directly from actual testing, conducted per international standard IEC 60512-2, Test 4a.

According to standard IEC 60130-1, para. 14.5, these Test Voltages can be used to derive corresponding Operating Voltage (Us) ratings by derating in the following manner:

¹ Ue > 500V
² Ue > 3.000V

Warning:

Many applications have special voltage requirements and therefore may require that other methods be used to determine Test and Operating Voltage ratings.

Those methods supersede others given above.
