New SS and SSC Short Plugs
The new SS and SSC series are ideal for miniature equipment.
The compact construction of those short plugs allow a significative
gain in space and weight, while still offering a high density pin
configuration (up to 9 pins in a 9 mm diameter).
Resistant to harsh environmental conditions, the SS and SSC connector bodies are specifically designed to be used in the field. Withstanding temperatures from -55°C to + 135°C, available in IP68 sealed versions and guaranteeing a 360° EMC shielding, their ruggedness is well appreciated in demanding applications. The SS version is using the Fischer Connectors automatic locking system, which provides unparalleled retention reliability, while the SSC is a Clic-LocTM emergency breakaway version, designed for quick release through a sharp tug. This new series is intermateable to all Fischer Connectors standard receptacles and cable receptacles.  Product catalogue
