NPI Process Engineer

Implement, control and optimize the processes to manufacture connectors and cables assemblies in any of the Fischer Connectors plants around the world
Bring expertise to identify the critical processes to transfer to the selected production sites
Define the production data to correctly setup the ERP
Prepare the technical transfer documentation
Train the production teams at our plants, support them during ramp-up and fine tune the process parameters
Define KPI to measure the production quality and implement continuous improvement actions
Act as a technical process’s expert during audits of production sites
Propose innovative solutions to create scalable production means

Master’s degree in microtechnology, mechanical or electrical engineering
Background or proven experience in qualification of manufacturing processes and validation of new equipment
Knowledge in one or several of the following is welcome: over-molding, plastic injection, design and setup of molds, soldering techniques, crimping, press-fitting, epoxy dispensing
Knowledge of medical quality standard with ISO-13485
Knowledge in automation of manufacturing processes is a plus
Able to work in French and English (C1/C2 level)

Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills during initial manufacturing and ramp-up phases
Open to different cultures in Europe, Middle East, Asia
Ready to travel
