Fischer Connectors’ innovation, expertise and reliability have been put to good use in the newly designed GreenGT H2.

Saint-Prex, 3 July 2015 – A world première: the first electric/hydrogen racing car was unveiled on the Paul Ricard circuit during the French leg of the International Automobile Federation’s World Touring Car Championship (FIA WTCC) on Saturday 27 June 2015.

The GreenGT H2 emits only water in the form of steam and runs without a battery. It now achieves the performances of a GT and has an autonomy comparable with competition cars powered by an internal combustion engine.

The former F1 champion Olivier Panis, who contributed his expertise as a professional driver to the project, presented the car with his 20-year-old son Aurélien, a Formula Renault 3.5 Series pilot. The car’s bodywork has been designed in white and blue, with water drops referring to its unique performance features.

Fischer Connectors, whose logo is displayed on the car, has participated in making connectors solutions for the GreenGT H2 compressor, beam acquisition system, push box, top box tour, light beam, taillights, fog signal, water pump control, 12V power supply, 24V power supply and much more.
