The Medical Global Market Leader will be responsible for strengthening and developing the medical market position for all Fischer Connectors Group companies. Using his/her in-depth knowledge of the market and its requirement, he/she will help Fischer Connectors and its clients think differently about Fischer Connectivity solutions in the medical field, creating new opportunities for profitable growth.
During an interim period, the Global Market Leader will also assume the role of Key Account Manager for selected few Medical Key Account located in the US.
As such, the Global Market Leader Medical will be part of a matrix organization, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (in Switzerland) and to the National Sales Director (in USA).
Be a leading global authority on the global medical market and the role played by connectivity solutions.
Combine top-down medical industry expertise with deep knowledge of Fischer Connectors Group-wide capabilities and business practices.
Support Group-level R&D and product development by providing clear, practical guidance for developing new solutions for medical markets.
Represent all Fischer Connectors Group businesses with all major medical industry clients and prospects, and provide an authoritative voice on global medical market trends.
Work directly with Fischer Connectors Group clients, Sales and Business Development teams to grow medical-related revenue and profit.
Build relationship with clients’ leaders at the largest Fischer Connectors medical accounts and prospects.
Fischer Connectors Group-level responsibilities:
Drive medical market revenue and profitable growth globally across all Fischer Connectors solution products and services.
Support Group-wide sales and business development by providing a clear strategy to improve medical customers acquisition, satisfaction and retention.
Support R&D and product management by providing authoritative industry input to create innovative Fischer Connectors medical solutions.
Build top-level relationships with global medical market leaders and trendsetters.
Demonstrates strong expertise and execution in medical account management, generating market & customer insights and demonstrated ability to influence groups/individuals.
Strong medical proficiency with connectivity products
Must demonstrate an ability to drive execution of sales goals and key deliverables
Proven track record of consistent sales success in an individual contributor role
Understands unique challenges and business drivers across multiple channels.
Excellent selling skills
Respectful and accountable; able to relate and work with a wide range of people to achieve results
Skilled in building and maintaining professional relationships with customer stakeholders
Exceptional problem-solving skills, time management/organizational skills & an expert at written communication skills with impeccable planning/follow-up
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related business, and or medical discipline
Proven track record in achieving & exceeding sales objectives
A minimum of 5 years of medical equipment experience preferred
